Custom Consoles introduces MediaOne control desk

Making its worldwide launch on Stand 19.135 at IFSEC2007 (NEC, Birmingham, May 21-24), Custom Consoles' MediaOne control desk combines height-adjustability and ultra-modern styling with operator-friendly curved edging and broad-radius corners. Aesthetically pleasing aluminium extrusions combine strength with lightness, for lifetime durability.
"MediaOne is ideal for use with flat-screen computer monitors," comments Custom Consoles' sales manager Gary Fuller. "It incorporates a retractable telescopic handle which allows the work-surface to be raised or lowered in height between 660 and 900 mm. The handle can be parked once the desk has been adjusted. Operators can thus select the preferred desktop height as well as being free to change their posture to avoid fatigue and RSI, a major issue given the amount of time many people spend sitting in front of PCs."
MediaOne features include integral cable management and mounting points for up to three LCD monitor arms. Constructed using Custom Consoles' proven M Desk extrusions, MediaOne is available in maple, cherry or beech finish with a grey textured surround. An optional 19 inch 13 U pedestal is also available. This incorporates extruded pillars with veneered infills.
MediaOne is guaranteed against component failure for five years of normal use. It conforms to British Standard EN ISO9241-5 (ergonomics), EN 527-1 (dimensions) and BS 4875-5, 6 and 7 (structural integrity). MediaOne is produced at Custom Consoles' UK manufacturing facility and is available within typical lead times of 7 to 10 working days.
